The vocation of LuisSkier was to be a pilot of those 'Stupid Motorized Birds' and so, when the he finished the highschool, he showed up (without his father knowing) to the entrance exam of the air academy in Matacán. And he passed.

When he told his father, who was a tailor and had as customers many pilots of the airline 'Iberia' he said they were all crazy and not allowed him to go. As he had to enroll somewhere, he looked at all the technical schools (as a child he saw that he was 100% technical) and found the ideal: Industrial Engineers.

What did they teach in it? What was the future? I did not know but, it had a pool, tennis courts and a little soccer field. Later he found a 'bareto' to also learn to play mus.

It was when working in the USA that he was finally able to fly. There it was cheap and very common. Total that his put to his customers to do their homework and while they were doing it, he used to go to the flight school.

He got the degree and wrote a book about those 'Stupid Motorized Birds', which he called 'Laughing and Thinking Aloft'.
